Make no mistake, Chuck Palahniuk has some absolute banger reads, but unfortunately I could not get into this one. I’m not a big fan of stories written in the style of how someone talks, especially if it involves a lot of localized lingo and abstract manner of phrasing. My brain is doing too much twisting around trying to figure out basic details of what is being described.
