The Divorce by Nicole Strycharz
3.0
I’ve been eyeing this book for a number of years but I hate married people angst so I put it off. Alas, I was looking for some stress this week so I thought to myself why not.
This book has:
1. Grovelling: my favourite trope (only by men tho which thankfully this was)
2. Triangle/om: my most hated trope
My thoughts summed up
- It reads like if how I met your mother had a baby with a walk to remember.
- Shit got really weird at the 76% mark and that scene in the club … just gross and no
- Me at every plot point: Ever heard of therapy?
- Chris is pathetic and not in a loveable way
- There was a letter. It was straight out of the movie veer zara
