On her last legs, unemployed artist Cassie is too desperate to snatch at the too-good-to-be-true opportunity to move into a upscale apartment at a dirt-cheap price to really question how odd her new roommate is. That is, until she finds the blood bags in the fridge...

A cute and funny read, and the humor mined from Frederick's and most other vampires' lack of conversance with modern society consistently cracked me up. However, Cassie felt immature at times, the world-building concerning vampiric society became sketchier as the story went on, and the romance failed to convince me.
