Intrigue in Istanbul by Erica Ruth Neubauer
3.0
Another historical mystery novel in the series.
This entire series has such beautiful covers, and I'd be lying if I said that wasn't why I wanted to read the books. Oh well.
Jane and her fiancé are on a mission to track down her father before the bank repossesses their row house. Jane's father is abroad trying to find an ancient relic, however, they can't seem to find her father.
This novel jumps from Boston, Hungary, and Istanbul quite quickly, which was a bit hard to comprehend with the time this takes place (1926).
As much as I love the covers, I don't think I will continue reading the series, the dynamic between characters is not really there, or where I like reading them. I have also found that these stories are pretty predictable, which is great for a light read, however, the world is wide and I have books to read.
