Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut
3.0

This was my first Vonnegut book, and I'm glad I finally read one of his works. I like his style of writing, it was light and east to get into. I thought Slaughterhouse-Five was an interesting read, and I enjoyed the idea of jumping around periods of one's life. Billy Pilgrim seems to have had a tough life, and it was cool that he got to hear an alien perspective on life. My main critique was that some of the descriptions were fairly violent, but that's what you get with a book about war. I'd give it about 3.5/5 overall. I'm glad that I read this book, and I hope to read more of Vonnegut's work in the near future.
