This book had Anna Akana's voice seeping through all the pages which helped ruin my misconception that all Youtuber's that write books have a Ghostwriter do it for them since they don't have the mental capacity to do it themselves. Anna is another person and her intelligence, ability to reflect, life of struggles, and hard work have always been something I've admired. Funnily enough it made me feel closer to her even though I don't know her and on top of that- I felt like this book is an affirmation of things I knew she struggled with. Being a Youtuber can put you in the limelight and I've always found her voice and expressions to give away all the sorrow and peeks at the hidden Anna she kept tucked away. This book gives you more insight to that hidden Anna and it's a beautiful memento to her sister.
