This was a quick read for me. I loved the setting of the book and learning about Kiawah Island. I’ve heard it is beautiful and for the elite.😅I would love to visit one day to see how beautiful the island is. The author did a great job with describing the scenery. I loved picturing the big boats and golf courses. I loved that it was people that talked and looked like me in a mystery. It had a little romance in it as well. My favorite character was Malika. I would love to hear a story about her. 

But it was a little too predictable for me. I mostly figured out who was involved and I predicted why Denise’s husband was missing. I felt like a certain character should have had a little bit more involvement in the book so I could be like wow I would have never seen that coming. Even still, the person wasn’t involved enough. When I read mysteries I want to be shocked and I want to not be able to predict the mystery. It was a few typographical errors that distracted me from the story.
