coffeecatkasra 's review for:
Rocannon's World
by Ursula K. Le Guin
Some of the best worldbuilding I've ever read. Characters are unique, with their own motivations and abilities; the action is engaging, the internal and external conflict well-balanced, the fun and philosophy interwoven to create a good and satisfying read.
Also, as a queer millennial lover of the genre, this is one of the VERY few speculative fiction novels where following a cis het man through a hero's journey was actually an enjoyable, relatable, emotionally moving adventure.
