I absolutely loved this book, I have been anticipating this for months. The world building, the characters, all of it was wonderful. I had started to feel disappointed with the lack of smut then past the halfway mark we suddenly got smut like every other chapter which was fun. I rather unfortunately didn’t like the ending, it didn’t seem happy…? It seemed rushed and I wasn’t a fan of the very rushed pregnancy trope. I also wished Aero & Tally got their own chapters, I was very intrigued with their relationship and I really wanted to know more about Aero. Therefore the ending made me lose a star.
I gathered the certain thing that was sent away to hiding is what Tarn is going to Mount Ida for in GOTM. This book was honestly the beauty and the beast retelling I wanted from ACOTAR.
This book made me laugh, cry and scream at times and I can’t wait for more. I want more Klyde tho!
