Head Over Heels
by Karla Sorensen
4.25 stars happy release day !
In every book that features a member of the Wilder family as a protagonist, there is an atmosphere of agony tied to their patriarch's illness and inevitable loss. the author's ability to navigate each narrative through a different notion of grief is both beautifully elegiac and cruelly poetic. by molding their closure and making the farewells they needed to move on with their lives, she brought out the different characters' grief in a nuanced manner. this book was not exception to the Wilder rule, it was filled with heartwarming and heart wrecking family moments.❤️
