Niall
by Melanie Moreland
Niall by Melanie Moreland is the second book in The Irishmen. Niall Black is the cousin of Finn O'Reilly, the owner of O'Reilly's casino and second-in-command in the O'Reilly syndicate. Niall's story picks up where Finn's left off, so you need to read Finn before reading Niall. Una Murphy and Annabelle Lewis are rescued and recovering from their ordeal, which took place at the racetrack. Neither Finn nor Niall has let either woman out of their sight. Niall has been taking care of Anna, and she has been staying with him in his suite and his bed. Every time he tries to move her, she buries further into him, both physically and emotionally. For a morally grey man, it is evident that he has a soft spot for Anna. Especially when Aldo or Roman offers to help Anna, they receive his 'touch her and die' attitude.
Melanie Moreland, knock this Irishmen duet out of the park! I enjoyed reading this series, but I've listened to snippets of the audiobooks, and they bring this duet to life. I'm looking forward to listening to both of them!
