I've never read any other Stephen King, but I wanted to give this classic a shot because...ya know, it's a classic. I wasn't expecting to like it this much! I know people have called him the master of horror or whatever, but really he's the master of tension. Especially going into this knowing the ending, i thought it would feel like a long drawn out explanation until we finally got to the good pat with all the murder but no! I was engaged and interested throughout the whole thing, maybe even because i knew the ending or becasue he writes with such amazing suspense. Either way, i thought it was great.
