audjmo91 's review for:
As I Lay Dying
by William Faulkner
I think I wanted to like this more than I did. I can overlook the language, and the shifting narrator doesn't bother me (and I enjoyed Addie's chapter), but it was Anse's absolute stubbornness that drove me crazy. I could go a long time without hearing, "I won't be beholden to none," again.
