Everywhere I Look by Helen Garner

4.0

This is the first time I've read Helen Garner and it definitely won't be the last. Her writing is beautiful, sharp, wry and self-deprecating. The stories/essays in this book are so immersive and moving that I found them a real delight to read. I just took one star off for Part 5, which consists mostly of book and film reviews and tested my stamina.
