This book could’ve almost been good, but it just isn’t. The start feels so pretentious and impossible to get into. I really enjoy the letters they send eachother. And the idea of them traveling to different timelines to leave the letters for the other is so cool and interesting. But the timelines themselves and the way they were written are just not it. You get maybe 3 pages to get an idea of the current world and setting before they get into the letter and then into the next timeline again. I was almost enjoying it, then realised I was only 34% in and realised, ‘I can’t fucking read twice as much more of this book’. So I have in and gave up.
