This book was fine. Not my favorite read, but not the worst thing I have ever read. I think it is extremely obvious that the author put a lot of effort into this book, I am just not totally convinced this should have been the final copy of the book.

It starts with introducing the main characters and the ongoing challenge. Fallon just graduated highschool and is spending her summer working for her mother's shared ice cream truck to save up money for her summer trip and college. Chloe is a college freshman, coming home to earn some money and work her mother's ice cream truck. Fallon and Chloe used to be best friends until they both jointly ruined the relationship by falling for one another but never expressing their feelings. Fallon finds out that chloe is coming home for the summer to work with her and she freaks out. She refuses and begs her mom to keep Chloe away from her, little does she know that she will be stuck running the truck alone with chloe in less than a week.

Fallon's mom breaks said news of running the truck alone with Chloe at a very big festival to Fallon and she flips. Fallon doesn't think she'll be able to do it. But she does to please her mom and because she has no other choice, due to her mother having to go to Dallas with her Company partner, Carmen who is Chloe's Mother. Fallon also knows she has to do this trip because she desperately needs the money.

Chloe and Fallon set off on their 3 day journey to Tennessee where there is plenty of bumps along the way, Chloe wants to make up with Fallon even though she isn't totally sure what happened between them, Fallon wants nothing to do with it even though Chloe is going above and beyond for her.  Chloe plans out an elaborate road trip plan to impress Fallon and hopefully fix their friendship. By the end of the roadtrip, Chloe and fallon have made up but then lost it several times (which got extremely repetitive and annoying) but they finally come together to realize that Chloe has always felt the same way about Fallon, she didn't just see her as someone she could use.
