A Dance with Dragons by George R.R. Martin

5.0

Again, George R.R. Martin delivers a masterpiece. Many authors master the English language, but Martin goes beyond that, he has English chained down and tamed, willing to do his bidding. The continuing series has forever changed my concept of a "good book" and keeps me wanting more. One of the best aspects of this series is that the antagonists are not clearly known. Betrayal and lies are key components of all 5 books so far, and I expect lots more in the concluding novels. I have to say, this series was the best book recommendation I ever got, aside from the one to read Harry Potter when I was 7, but a close second.
