Sophie's World
by Jostein Gaarder
A unique speed-run through the history of philosophy and how to think about life's big questions. It is written for a teenage audience, and is of course a translation, which meant the writing verged on too-simple at times for an adult audience. But the story was well-crafted and the learnings were easy to grasp, so the simplicity was ultimately a plus.
Would recommend as a must-read for teenagers.
