A World Without Email by Cal Newport

1.0

This book is about what the author calls “the hyperactive hive mind”, interspiced with different working methodologies and a rant about instant electronic communication. I’ve learned nothing and took nothing new from reading this very chaotically written yet lengthy book. After reading Newport’s other works, this one was a big disappointment. “Digital Minimalism” and “Deep Work” are some of my favorite books out there which I would highly recommend almost anyone to read but “A world without email” wasn’t worth time or money.

For me it falls in the category: “Could’ve been an email.” (Or an article, for that matter)
