I received a digital ARC of this book for my honest review.
Avni is an astronaut who needs an assistant. She thinks she has found the perfect one in Aya, but when Aya changes the mission, what is an astronaut to do? A wonderful book in so many ways. This book is a great first step is understanding how to combine great ideas while playing with your friends. My own son has a very active imagination as well but often struggles with compromising on play, or the mission, when playing with others, much like Avni does. I also love that Avni embraces mistakes/mishaps/setbacks, and while it is not the main theme of the book, this will to “make it work” is what leads Avni to success and a new friendship. A great book for any home or library.
