I love a good book that includes family drama and scorned lovers!
This story is centered around two families: the Earnshaw’s and the Linton’s and details the events that took place that led to Heathcliff’s (the landlord of Wuthering Heights) bitterness. This book was slow to start and slightly hard to follow in the beginning. But once I understood the character names, family tree, and interweaving relationships, the book began to pick up for me. It’s told as a story within a story and was very interesting to read. I enjoyed it!
