Wow, this book is long! Too long for a YA. It could easily have been 300 pages and we wouldn't have missed anything.
It starts well when Mallory and Rider are introduced slowly and we learn about their back story as abused foster kids, but then they're grown up and it all gets a bit eh. I found the grown-up portion of Mallor and Rider's story pretty unbelievable... and then there was the drama just for drama's sake.
