A fun strangers to friends/friends to lovers hockey romance
Puck Shy is Book 1 in the Carolina Comets series by Teagan Hunter. Collin is having a run of bad luck, and is advised to lay low to salvage his damaged reputation. While on his way home, his car breaks down, and he nearly gets run over by Harper, who begrudgingly offers him a ride. Although they seem to have a connection, they don’t exchange information at the end of the trip. While trying to let off some steam later, he finds Harper again on a dating app. I am a sucker for hockey romance and this book definitely does not disappoint! The book offers plenty of laugh out loud moments, witty banter, passionate chemistry, and several other great characters that will make for an interesting series.
