He hadn’t realized until just this moment that he didn’t feel like himself — hadn’t felt like himself for a long time. He could have blamed it on Mini, he could have blamed it on Zee, but he couldn’t connect the moment of detachment to either one of them.
At some point, he had done this to himself.

I am unfortunately, deeply invested in this series.
