"I didn't write this book, I stole it."
Upon beginning this book, knowing absolutely nothing about it, I was faced with the choice of which way to read it, and of course I couldn't resist trying the Baroness sequence. It's not often one gets to read a book in any other way than from front to back.
At first these three stories seem in no way connected, but as you read on, like pieces of a puzzle it all starts falling into place and connecting. This is love story that spans decades is told through three short stories expertly intertwined with each other. It is completely unique, masterful, and mesmerising. I must say though I enjoyed the way the story was told in its unique form more than the story itself though is was intriguing enough.
