This collection of poetry is one of my favourites, particularly in its exploration of the role of women, death, and marriage. Plath's sound techniques and rhythm of writing is beautiful, I feel like there are lines of her poetry still running around my head. Her poetry definitely sticks with you, and honestly, it is a wonderful. There are some issues, mainly the use of racial slurs as Plath was a product of her time (aka, she was racist, unfortunately).
Moderate: Racial slurs and Antisemitism
There is the usage of racial slurs, mainly in using these slurs for imagery rather than racism, but still, they are there. There is also mentions of the Holocaust and Nazis.
