The book cover does a really apt job of showing the strange poetic nature of the stories. I like the author's prose a lot, there were a lot of unique ideas here, but the stories are - though most anthologies tend to be this way - constant hits and misses. What maybe makes this book different from other anthologies is that each story is incredibly dense, and honestly stretches itself way longer than it has to be to get to the point.
