Loveable characters:
No
Diverse cast of characters:

Flaws of characters a main focus:
Complicated
I'm conflicted. While there were parts of Snow's development and passages that put forth ideas about war that were important, I'm not sure that this book was necessary. I kinda hate that there was a love story. Yes, I think Snow loved Lucy Gray – or he loved how she made him feel. I'm at a loss when it comes to her feelings for him. He certainly helped her in the Games, but I think the end shows she's a survivor in her own right.
