Yuri is My Job!, Volume 6 by Miman
5.0
Oh my gosh, this volume was an emotional rollercoaster! Watching Yano finally express her true feelings and Hime's determination to break down Yano' walls was difficult yet rewarding. Yano's expressions really sold the emotional turmoil she was experiencing, and the multiple flashbacks while Hime read her letter was a nice touch.
But then, BUT THEN, we get Hime's announcement at the end of the volume. And I wanted to wring Hime's neck SO FUCKING BAD, I was SO PISSED. But at the same time, I'm SO FUCKING IMPRESSED with Miman's writing and characterization. Hime's decision is frustrating, but is so in keeping with her character it's frightening. Now I'm so damn curious to see what will happen next, but I have to wait til next year! Dammit, these release dates are killing me!
This is easily one of the best, well-written yuris I've ever read and I'm always floored by Miman's consistently high quality writing, art, and characterization. I cannot wait for more.
