Smits, Lee’s real brother, comes to the school. He has a body guard named Oscar.
Smits had BG Oscar. We learn Oscar works for a resistance group too. Smits and Luke go to Lee and Smits’ parents for a weekend, The Grants. While they are there, Oscar tries to assassinate the President at a party, but instead kills the Grants. At the end, Luke takes Smits to his real parent’s house and they adopt Smits.
So, this was fine. The middle grade was definitely middle grading in this book. Also, The Grants were insane with that “simply go back into hiding” shit. Glad they died. Down with the .01%!
