The Year of Living Biblically: One Man's Humble Quest to Follow the Bible as Literally as Possible by A.J. Jacobs

3.0

This book started out extremely interesting and I couldn't put it down. Around month 9, however, it began to drag on so much that I put it down for a few weeks. It gets very long-winded and I think he could have made the same point in half of the words. Worth a read, but don't be shy about skipping sections or skimming through them.

Oh, my biggest complaint about this book? His unwillingness to hold his wife's hand during her c-section because she was unpure! I think he took the literalness too far in this case.
