The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood

5.0

This book lives up to the hype! There is so much I could say about this book, I could probably talk about it for hours. This book reads like a fan fiction in the best of ways and I honestly couldn’t get enough of it! I wish there was more.

First off, the relationship between Olive and Adam was just perfect. I love the sunshine and grumpy trope, and these two personified this trope perfectly. Adam’s secret pining came through in the best of ways, despite Olive’s doubts and insecurities.

Additionally, the world-building of STEM and academia felt accurate and true to the story. I loved the space Olive and Ahn took up in their program despite how heavily male-dominated it is described. I expect these women to take over the scientific world!

Really, this is all just to say, the book is perfect. It had me in a chokehold from the very beginning, and I will be reading everything Ali Hazelwood writes without a doubt.
