this book literally made me dread reading each day. there was some interesting psychoanalytic commentary of power struggles between men and women, but ultimately that commentary felt dated and reliant on other misogynistic tropes. 2 stars instead of 1 because of that one famous Atwood quote at the very end of the book about male fantasies that still haunts me to this day
