Wayward Lives, Beautiful Experiments: Intimate Histories of Riotous Black Girls, Troublesome Women, and Queer Radicals by Saidiya Hartman

I loved this book! I loved the authors scholastic approach/methodology. Some parts reads like a historical fiction novel which I loved and there was a lot of diversity in the text, especially as it pertains to Black girlhood and womanhood. She did a LOT of research and this is just overall an excellent exemplar into the cannon. I very highly recommend.
