This was not the most impressive graphic novel I've seen-- the storyline is minimal, as is the character development. The art was okay, but it doesn't stand out in my mind. However, this book IS perfect for reluctant middle school boys who are looking for something to read. It's quick, simple, and the conflicts will resonate with real-life teens. A couple of flags for language, but likely nothing the kids haven't seen on tv anyway.
