This was a slight step out of my comfort zone and definitely change in direction but I’m so pleased to have discovered it and picked it up.
A monument in itself to the challenges of memorialisation, carried by a cast of complex and heart-warming characters with a good dose of absurd humour, this novel achieves its goal perfectly.
It leaves us with the universal notion that memories never truly fade and that the dead will always remain - how best to remember them?
