Beautifully set in the Scottish highlands, the book tells the story of a mother and her daughter in two timelines. I enjoyed reading this book a lot, learning about Fionas story and the story of her community at Loch Ewe. I didn’t know about the Arctic convoys during WW2 and how even remote communities were involved.
