I was vibing until they actually decided that Layla and Zayne should act on their mutual attraction. Is nobody else concerned with the fact that he’s 21 and she’s 17? Like seriously, I can find zero reviews that point this out. I get they’re supernatural beings, but they age like humans emotionally and physically. Really rubbed me the wrong way and I won’t be continuing the series. The crush Layla had on Zayne was weird period, but the fact that a grown ass man reciprocated that crush? Then acted on it? Yea, gross. I finished the second book, but i’m not moving onto the third. This love triangle is not it.
