The Women of the Copper Country by Mary Doria Russell
4.0

A fictionalized but well-researched account of one of the many labor struggles of the early 20th century, when workers were entirely expendable. This one was led by women, and I am from the region, so I found the story especially compelling, but the issues then were not so different from the issues now. Lots of food for thought in this book.
