Duplicity by Becca Fogg

4.0

The first part in the series set the bar incredibly high for Duplicity, and it did not disappoint. Once more the book is well-written, engaging and I simply devoured it. There were moments where it felt rushed and I would have hoped for a bit more space for the story to breathe, but overall it flowed great. The spice level went up from part 1, but didn't get too overwhelming.

I did feel like some decisions by the main character could have used more explaining, I was left frowning a couple of times and wishing to get a better glimpse inside her head. While to me Duality remains the stronger of the two, Duplicity was still a great read and I will be purchasing a physical copy of it in the future, as it deserves a spot on display in my shelf.
