This was wild actually!!
One thing you can expect from Victoria Aveyard, she will give you details to everything. Intense details and descriptions. She sets the scenes and their atmosphere very well and the way she goes from character to character is awesome.
I was not expecting to like Erida and Taristan, sort of, but they are well written villains and their romance!!! However, the Companions are the ones who have won me over. The way they bonded was very sweet albeit being in traumatic circumstances.
I liked the second book better than the first.
