'How can the world look so perfect when I feel so broken?'
Who knew that a book aimed for children would be so, so deep 🥺
I can't believe how raw Some Kind of Happiness is. A part of me wishes I had been able to read this when I was younger, struggling to understand depression.
I am so glad that books like this exist. Books which explore difficult and emotionally heavy themes, but offers some sense of hope or solace amidst the darkness.
