Rambo says in the dedicated that this book was written for someone who wanted a space opera in third person omniscient POV. I feel this was a mistake. I felt so removed from the characters the whole time, I couldn't connect or care about any of them. The worldbuilding was extremely shaky, and alien species were constantly being named with no descriptions. The pacing was also all over the place. Really missed the mark.
