The Pluto Files: The Rise and Fall of America's Favorite Planet
by Neil deGrasse Tyson
Breezy. The book flies by, much like Pluto, from a distance. The book will likely frustrate anyone who is looking to dig into some in-depth scientific discussion. Tyson does a good job give you the basics, outlining a few characters, and talking about the culture impact of Pluto, which is the bulk of the book. The best moments are -- easily -- the letters written by frustrated Plutophiles (get the title?!) in America, ranging from the elderly to 7-year olds.
THE PLUTO FILES is a good book, but it leaves you wanting for something a little deeper.
