This felt like a very fresh romance book. I have never read anything along these plot lines, and I am avid romance reader. You follow Dahlia and Julian and their second-chance romance. While I didn't find myself obsessed with the characters and their fate, I did root for them.

ALSO ARE YOU KIDDING, JULIAN BOUGHT HER A MILLION DOLLAR HOUSE TO FIX UP BECAUSE SHE WAS BORED>?!

I will say, I loved the small things Julian did for Dahlia to show he cares.
