I enjoyed this, but I wish there was a little more focus on the romance. It felt like the sister dynamic got more attention than Nora and Charlie. I understand why it was done that way, but I know the author is capable of creating a better balance. That being said, I did appreciate the personal journey Nora went on, and the relationship with her sister seemed vital to that.
I think I got spoiled with Funny Story being my first Emily Henry book. It's probably my favorite or 2nd favorite contemporary romance, so this one kind of paled in comparison.
Beach Read next? Or maybe I'll just reread Funny Story (it's living rent-free in my head anway, so maybe I need to return to it).
