Catching the One

I’m just loving this series of books! I wasn’t sure how it would be reading books from different authors in the same series, but so far it’s been seamless. Jenni Bara did a fabulous job writing Dylan and Cortney’s story. I love the insight into Dylan’s past and how Cortney just accepts her immediately for who she is. He has his own unique quirks and together they just compliment and match. They’re a great example of how finding your “person” can allow you to grow in new ways and open yourself up to possibilities you never saw for yourself.

Cortney is absolutely sweet as can be and I fell in love with the way he cares for the people around him and how he would do anything for Dylan to ensure her happiness and safety. He is absolutely swoon worthy. The poor guy really has to prove himself to the Mom’s which is pretty hilarious at times. Dylan isn’t expecting anything from Cortney, but he delivers and shows up time and time again.

The spice is steamy, but not over the top and the story is beautifully written. I left with all the happy feels and can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
