I finished this book over 6 months ago and I still think about it all the time. If you ever think about all the ways your life could have gone and your brain gets stuck on what could've been instead of focusing on what is, read this book. This was also such a creative way to get to a multiverse plot, and that structure drove the plot forward. Haig's fiction is definitely a different feel from his non-fiction, but it ultimately explores the same themes, just through a different medium. I read "Reasons to Stay Alive" right before reading this book, and I thought it honestly framed it really well. Overall, one of my favorite books I've read this year, maybe ever.
Graphic: Animal death, Death, Suicidal thoughts, Suicide, Suicide attempt
Moderate: Mental illness, Panic attacks/disorders, Grief
