This book grabbed me by the hair, threw me to the ground, curbstomped me with stilettos, spit in my face, and insulted my mother and i said thank you great god meatbun for the entire read. Very dark and brutal, but also beautifully written. The relationship between mo ran and chu wanning was beautiful to watch progress and I'll never get over chu wanning thirsting over farmboy mo ran.
