I loved this book. I loved that it’s a love story but not in the way that I expected based on the cover blurb: it’s really a love story about NYC, and loving yourself, and community. I loved how flawed all of the main characters are, especially Pab. His decisions were so frustrating sometimes that I wished I could step in and stage an intervention, but if I put myself in his shoes, I could have seen myself making many of those decisions, too. I’m looking forward to picking up Emergency Contact.
